This was the question posed by Dale and Holly Harvey of The Great British Pub Crawl, when they visited Crewe on the night of Saturday 18 November. Given the mostly negative comments made about the town they were pleasantly surprised that… “Despite the warnings from people who said we wouldn’t enjoy it and that there was nothing there, we found a good mixture of great beer houses and late night bars where you can have a dance.”
Dale went so far as to say that Tom’s Tap and Brewhouse is a “craft beer lovers wet dream.” Dale even purchased a Vault City Brewing’s Strawberry Banana Milkshake Sour for takeout, possibly “the greatest beer” he has ever tasted.
